Colombia Monteblanco Tropical Washed（コロンビア・モンテブランコ・トロピカル・ウォッシュド）
GLITCH COFFEEでも沢山の種類のコーヒーを取り扱ってきた、Monteblanco農園からユニークなProcessのコーヒー豆が届きました。
ColombiaのHuila県に位置する、農園で現在の農園主、Rodrigo Sanchez氏は、Monteblanco農園3代目となる生産者です。彼の作るコーヒーは発酵を応用したユニークな味わいのコーヒーが特徴です。
今回のコーヒーは、Pineapple、Passion Fruit、Orange、Mango、Panelaと呼ばれるColombiaの伝統的な黒糖の一種を加え、Yeastと一緒に発酵させます。そこから生まれたフルーツの酵素を取り出し、コーヒー豆と一緒に発酵させます。
飲んだ瞬間から口の中にPassion FruitやMangoといったJuicyな味わいと、Navel Orangeを思わせる明るい印象のコーヒーです。
GLITCH COFFEE has been handling many kinds of coffee beans from the Monteblanco Estate, and now we have a unique coffee bean with a unique process.
The current owner, Rodrigo Sanchez, is the third generation of Monteblanco's family to own the farm, located in Colombia's Huila province. His coffees are characterized by a unique taste based on fermentation.
For this coffee, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Orange, Mango, and a traditional Colombian brown sugar called Panela are added and fermented with Yeast. The enzymes from the fruit are then extracted and fermented with the coffee beans.
From the moment you drink this coffee, your mouth will be filled with the juicy flavors of Passion Fruit and Mango, and the bright impression of Navel Orange.
